Getting overheat alarms or low water pressure warnings at wide open throttle? You're not alone — it's one of the most common complaints on high-performance center consoles running the Mercury Marine 1.75 HD lower unit. When you're running the lower unit at the optimal height for speed, the 8 side-mounted water pickups come out of the water and start pulling air instead of coolant. The engine doesn't like that. This kit is the fix.

Borrowed from race-style setups like the Mercury Racing Sportmaster, the solution is simple: plug the side pickups and let the nose cone inlets do all the work. Clean, uninterrupted water flow at speed, no more alarms.
